Title:	Experimental study of neutron rich nuclei in the N=50 shell closure
Abstract:	In this contribution, we will report on experimental results on the excited structure of neutron-rich nuclei around the N=50 shell gap. Neutron rich nuclei have been populated by means of the deep-inelastic and multinucleon-transfer reaction 82Se+238U at a beam energy (82Se) of 505 MeV. Medium- and high-spin states have been identified using the CLARA detector array in coincidence with the PRISMA magnetic spectrometer. New information has been obtained on the Z=28 and N=50 shell closures. The isotones 81Ga, 82Ge and 83As at N=50 have been populated up to medium spin allowing a model dependent determination of the N=50 shell energy gap. Additionally, new experimental information has been obtained for the evenodd neutron-rich Cu isotopes up to 75Cu. Such findings will be discussed in the context of the evolution of the shell far from stability.
