Title:	Charge state breeding results with EBIS/T devices
Abstract:	Advanced charge breeding of radioactive ion beams with Electron Beam Ion Sources have been studied. The aim is to optimise the charge breeding process by increasing the breeding efficiency, improving the beam quality and beam purification. The processes affecting these parameters have been addressed and studied. Results obtained with the EBIS of REX-ISOLDE, the EBIS setup at GSI Darmstadt and Heidelberg will be presented. In particular notable on-line results, in terms of versatility, efficiency and beam purity, obtained with the trap-EBIS charge breeding system of REX-ISOLDE, a post-accelerator operational since 2001 will be discussed.
