Title:	EURONS and the Gamma-Spectroscopy Community in EUROPE: the Gammapool campaigns and the AGATA R&D Project.
Abstract:	The EURONS contract has contributed to the activity of the European gamma-spectroscopy community in two main fronts namely the coordination of the EUROBALL sub-arrays campaigns through the GAMMAPool Network and contributing to the R&D of the AGATA project through the corresponding JRA02. The coordination of the EUROBALL resources has allowed our community to have very competitive setups in several European laboratories. as for example Rising at GSI, the first large Ge gamma-array in Europe to be used with the highly relativistic radioactive beams produced by the FRS; the CLARA array coupled to the PRISMA magnetic spectrometer at LNL, a setup devoted to spectroscopy of neutron-rich nuclei produced in multi-nucleon transfer reactions; and the JuroGam array coupled to the RITU spectrometer at JYFL, devoted to spectroscopy of products with extreme low fusion-evaporation cross section, as super-heavy elements, and with recoil-tagging capability. The GammaPool Network has also contributed to the coordination of the EUROBALL ancillary detectors campaigns, as the Neutron-Wall, coupled with the large Ge array EXOGAM at GANIL, and the charged-particle array EUCLIDES with GASP at LNL. The Advanced Gamma Tracking Array AGATA is the project of a large European collaboration to build a next-generation Ge-array. The project is presently at the end of the R&D phase, called the AGATA Demonstrator. EURONS has contributed significantly to the development of this phase. In this contribution an overview of the Gammapool campaigns and the status of the AGATA Demonstrator, will be presented.
