Title:	Trap assisted nuclear spectroscopy and precision mass measurements with JYFLTRAP (poster)
Abstract:	JYFLTRAP group at the University of Jyväskylä has participated in the TRAPSPEC JRA to (i) develop trap-assisted spectroscopy and (ii) to develop trapping techniques for precision mass spectroscopy. Several nuclear spectroscopy experiments have been performed with the JYFLTRAP setup. These include the in-trap conversion electron measurements of palladium-117 isomer, half-life measurements of silicon-26 and decay spectroscopy of ruthenium-115. Highlights of the results will be shown to demonstrate how the ion beam purification by a Penning trap has improved the resulting spectra. The multiple injection scheme which was required for silicon-26 experiment will be also presented. Precision mass spectroscopy at JYFLTRAP has covered various topics from nuclear structure and nuclear astrophysics to precision tests of weak interaction. In this contribution an example, evolution of the N=50 shell gap energy towards doubly magic nickel-78, will be presented.
