Title:	Recent experiments with SPARC EBIT.
Abstract:	Abstract A new electron beam ion trap dedicated for the future HITRAP and SPARC projects is tested and used for a number of experiments. Due to a good emittance which was measured there will be a good transport of the ion beam towards different setups. Already measured X-rays and ion beam current from the EBIT after a separation magnet showed well-understandable charge state abundance of the ions dependent on containment time in the trap. Charge breeding experiments of K+1 ions injected from external ion source was performed in order investigate the charge breeding process. SIMION simulations showed a good beam properties to perform external injection into the trap. The charge breeding was controlled with high resolution X-ray spectrometer. Collision experiments with neutral Mg atom from the jet obtained via sublimation of Mg in the oven were also performed. The results will be presented.
