Title:	Evaluation of Electrical Conductivities in Dense Plasmas using Pulsed-power Discharges
Abstract:	Equation of state (EOS) and transport properties of warm dense matter (WDM) are of interest concerning the interior of giant planets (e. g. Jupiter ) and the implosion dynamics of inertial confinement fusion. However, materials in WDM state are in a complex area where the state is neither solid, conventional fluid nor ideal plasma. We propose a method to investigate the WDM properties from comparable data obtained both experimentally and numerically. The WDM states are produced by exploding wire discharges in water. The conductivity of wire/plasma are directly determined from the applied voltage and current with the wire/plasma radius. We can observe the hydrodynamic behavior of wire/plasma and the radiation of wire/plasma. From these observation, the density and the temperature of wire/plasma are estimated as well as the conductivity data. We compared the conductivity with the Spitzer, the Lee-More, and the Ichimaru models. Results show that in high density regime, the experimental results can not be explained with those by the conventional models. Also we discuss the newly experimental method as the copper foam/plasma generated by the pulsed-power discharges.
