Title:	Mo GRIP XRL pumping, bandwidth and experiments planning at TEWALAS
Abstract:	Gain dynamics in Transient Collisionaly Excited, Grazing Incidence Pumped Dy X-Ray Laser (XRL) was investigated. The simulations were performed assuming three pulses to irradiate a solid target for a better control of the gain and ionization dynamics. It was found that the use of two short pulses provides a higher gain in the active medium of the x-ray laser than in the case of a single short pulse. Aspects related to the bandwidth of the x-ray lasers were further analyzed, taking into account the isotopic composition of the target. It appears that the use of pure isotopic targets with no nuclear magnetic moment could further have a significant increase on the XRL emission. On contrary, the use of isotopes with nuclear magnetic moment reduces the gain but increases the XRL bandwidth, simplifying high order harmonics amplification in XRL plasma amplifier. The combination of the two methods proposed here will be tested on light elements at the 15 TW TEWALAS laser facility in INFLPR.
