Title:	Pulse-shape predictions, heating by high intensity EUV sources and dynamic pulse shaping
Abstract:	Presented are pulse-shape predictions as a function of distance into a neon-like iron plasma amplifier under conditions given by the Arwen 2D hydrocode. We also show predictions of time-dependent transmission through iron and of the abundances of low-Z exotic species following ultra-short (100 fs) bursts of high intensity (10^16 W cm^-2) EUV irradiation. Peak equilibrium temperature calculations are given, and we discuss how autoionization processes in low-Z hollow ions could be used to shape pulses and reduce their duration.
