Title:	RADIATION FROM RELATIVISTIC HEAVY IONS PASSING THROUGH AMORPHOUS AND CRYSTALLINE MATTER
Abstract:	Modern (GSI Darmstadt, Nuclotron Dubna, SPS CERN, RHIC Brookheaven) and planned (FAIR, LHC) heavy ion accelerators can provide beams of relativistic heavy ions (RHI), with relativistic factor .Many interesting phenomena (see, e.g. [1-6]) can be studied in the nearest future using these beams: ¿ Atomic resonant coherent excitation of RHI in crystals ¿ Nuclear resonant coherent excitation of RHI in crystals ¿ In-flight excitation of giant dipole resonance and subsequent gamma- radiation of RHI passing through a matter ¿ In-flight excitation of nuclear separate levels and subsequent X- and gamma radiation of RHI passing through a matter ¿ Cherenkov Radiation and Transition Radiation with account of stopping ¿ Parametric X-Radiation in Crystals (PXR) and in other periodic structures Here, we discuss theoretical models, computer simulations predictions, and possible experiments at GSI and FAIR.
