Title:	Theoretical investigations of charge-changing processes involving heavy many-electron ions
Abstract:	The recent progress in calculating electron capture and loss cross sections for heavy ions colliding with neutral atoms is discussed. The presented numerical results are compared with available experimental and theoretical data.
