AdamczewskiJoernEvaluation of the XDAQ framework for Future Data AcquisitionXDAQ is the data acquisition C++ software framework of the LHC-CMS experiment. Among its features are functionalities for task management, controls, data transport, and integration of hardware devices. Therefore it was chosen as base for the first implementation of the new GSI Data Acquisition Backbone Core DABC, which will run the future CBM DAQ testbed. The XDAQ cababilities were tested under different aspects: The data transport performance after developing additional libraries for uDAPL/InfiniBand network has already been reported previously. For integration of PCI/PCIe boards, XDAQ provides the Hardware Access Library (HAL) software interface. Using the generic PCIe device driver of the Active Buffer Board prototype (Uni Mannheim), HAL classes were implemented and tested with an available PCIGTB2 board. XDAQ offers an http server in each process to exchange SOAP controls messages, or to control the applications from a web browser. However, this approach still lacks the "publisher-subscriber-model" that is more performant when a large number of process variables shall be monitored. Since the DIM system supports such feature, adapter classes were developed to run a DIM server in a XDAQ executive. A DIM control GUI client prototype was implemented in NI Labview, using the Labview-DIM interface of the GSI CS framework.

AslanyanPetrosEfficiencies of registration for L hyperons , K0s mesons and exotic, strange resonances into acceptance of CBM by using " Efficiencies of registration for L hyperons , K0s mesons and EMulti-quark states, glueballs and hybrids have been experimentally searched a long time ago but none is established. Main goals from all new aspects of a survey in future CBM experiments with much improved statistics compared to those above reviewed data would hopefully resolve whether such "exotic" multi-quark hadron and baryon resonances exist. Particularly searches of exotic states by using CBM detector for Lambda hyperon and K0s meson systems will test for experimental results from JINR 2-m propane bubble chamber(PBC) what has been obtained from 700000 stereo photographs or $\approx 10^6$ inelastic interactions from exposed of proton beams at 10 GeV/c. As the first step were estimated efficiencies of registration into acceptance of CBM by using experimental data from 2m propane bubble chamber at 10 GeV/c for $\Lambda$ hyperons , $K^0_s$ mesons and exotic, strange resonances for inclusive reactions: pC$\to\Lambda \pi^+,\Lambda p$,$K^0_sp$,$\Lambda K^0_s$, K^0_s\pi$.

JanKrólikowskiCMS Muon Trigger- Physics and ChallengesThe Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) general purpose experiment at the CERN LHC starts this year with the challenging programme focused on the Higgs search and Beyond the Standard Model Physics. One of the challenges in the LHC environement is the triggering. Warsaw group has designed, prototyped, tested and now is leading the effort to build the versatile and programmable muon trigger electronics based on the RPC signals. This task will be discussed, with the emphasis on the technical solutions based on the FPGA chips.

NikulinVladimirStart of R&D for MuCh at PNPIThe planning of MuCh R&D at PNPI is presented. The main directions of R&D are: (i) Simulations of the detectors, including development appropriate chunck of CBMroot code. (ii) Studies of the new detectors (GEM, micromegas). (iii) Adaptation of the existing technologies to the MuCh environment. (iv) Development of the chamber electronics. (v) Design works. Our understanding of the approaches and first steps are described. The program is supposed to be discussed among the members of the MuCh collaboration.
