Title:	CMS Muon Trigger- Physics and Challenges
Abstract:	The Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) general purpose experiment at the CERN LHC starts this year with the challenging programme focused on the Higgs search and Beyond the Standard Model Physics. One of the challenges in the LHC environement is the triggering. Warsaw group has designed, prototyped, tested and now is leading the effort to build the versatile and programmable muon trigger electronics based on the RPC signals. This task will be discussed, with the emphasis on the technical solutions based on the FPGA chips.
