Title of talk:	Hypernuclear spectroscopy with heavy ion induced reactions: the HypHI project at GSI and towards FAIR
Abstract:	The HypHI project opens a new doorway to study hypernuclei in heavy ion induced reactions. With the proposed method, hypernuclei at extreme isospin and hypernuclear magnetic moments as well as hypernuclei with multiple-strangeness will be accessed. The first two experiments, Phase 0 and 0.5, were performed at GSI by means of induced reactions of 6Li and 20Ne projectiles at 2 A GeV, respectively, in order to demonstrate the feasibility of precise hypernuclear spectroscopy with heavy ion beams. An overview and the status of the project as well as the preliminary results of the two first experiments will be discussed.
