Title of talk:	Recent Results on Nucleon Spin Structure
Abstract:	In the Quark Parton Model the nucleon is described by so called parton distribution functions (PDFs). In unpolarized deep inelastic scattering one can determine the PDFs $q(x)$ and $g(x)$ which are just number densities of quarks and gluons at a given longitudinal momentum fraction $x$ in the nucleon. With polarization experiments one has access to more distributions, the most prominent ones are the helicity distributions $\Delta q(x)$, $\Delta G(x)$ and the transversity distribution $\Delta q_T(x)$. This description can be extended, if one does not integrate over the transverse momentum of the quarks in the nucleon. In this case more parton distributions appear in the cross These are referred to as transverse momentum dependent distributions (TMDs). Another extension of the simple collinear quark parton model is to consider the transverse position of a quark inside the nucleon. This effect is described by generalized parton distributions (GPDs), accessible for example in deep virtual Compton scattering. These distributions describe the probability that a parton carries a certain longitudinal momentum fraction at a given transverse position in the nucleon. Recent results from various experiments and future plans will be discussed.
