Title of talk:	Open charm - production and life in nuclear matter
Abstract:	Open charm production in NN collisions is described within a generalized Regge approach. This gives estimates of the cross sections near thresholds. Within a Glauber type model one can then get open charm multiplicities in p_bar A collisions. The behavior of charmed mesons in nuclear matter is analysed within QCD sum rules, and charm spectroscopy is dealt within the Dyson-Schwinger--Bethe-Salpeter framework.
