statement on interest:	I do my PhD-thesis on the ion energy loss in laser-generated plasmas, in the plasma physics group of GSI. A very important part is thus laser heating of matter to the plasma state, be it in the direct or indirect heating scheme. In particular, laser-plasma physics, absorption of intense laser radiation, laser particle acceleration, are therefore subjects of great interest for my research.
