In the Joint Session, every group should present their results or the
progress achieved since the last Collaboration Meeting in Lisbon and their
plans for the future. It will be a tight schedule and the time allocated for
each group is only 10 min plus 2 min for discussion. Therefore the number of
transparencies should not exceed 5!
Please inform Georg Bollen (who will be at Munich starting 1 September
(tel.:+49-89-28914089; fax: +49-89-28914072; email:
Georg.Bollen@physik.uni-muenchen.de)) on the title of the talk and who will
talk. Please bring with you to the meeting a copy of your transparencies of
good quality. Otherwise we will confiscate your precious transparencies!

The other Sessions will consist of 1 - 3 talks which should cover about 50%
of the available time. The remaining time should be reserved for discussions
which would also allow some participants to show additional tranparencies.
Please send your proposals for a contribution to the convener. Also
proposals for topics to be discussed during the Business Meetings are
wellcome.

Some final remarks:
A Symposium (or Tutorial) will take place at Mainz University on the
occasion of the 65th birthday of Ernst Otten on Sunday, 19.9.1999,
preceeding the APAC99 conference. Details can be find in the www
(http://www.uni-mainz.de/APAC99). If you are not yet registered and if you
would like to participate, please send immediately a message to
J.Kluge@GSI.de. The price (including lunch and dinner) is 70 DM = 35 Euro.

Many people are arriving by car. Therefore we will not organize after the
Collaboration Meeting transportation to Heidelberg, Frankfurt airport or
Mainz by bus but will try arrange that by private cars.

Please bring with you in cash the money for the hotel (in Deutschmark).
