Travel
GSI ("Gesellschaft für Schwerionenforschung") is loacted about 5km
north of Darmstadt.

IMPORTANT: To enter GSI you have to present a valid ID at the main entrance (passport is sufficient)!

Note: If you arrive at the "S-Bahn" station Arheiligen you will find
the shuttle bus station connecting to GSI at the opposite side of the
"S-Bahn" station. To move to the other side please use the underway.
Note: For transportation to and from GSI enter the buses labeled by "GSI" or "GSI Werksverkehr".
The shuttle bus is operating Mo-Fr, 6.17h to 20.17h and is free of
charge. The schedule can be found here.
